Doris is an Actress/Producer and United States Air Force veteran. While proudly serving in the Air National Guard for 6 years as a Medical Technician in her home state of New Jersey, Doris earned her B.A. in Communications at Rutgers University. After graduating, Doris eventually gravitated back to her first love... the performing arts. Her training immediately started with one of the most highly respected acting studios in New York City, HB Studio. It is here, where she was able to construct a solid foundation for her acting career.
Eventually, Doris boldly relocated to Los Angeles to take the next step in life and her career. She has studied with some of the most highly regarded acting institutions in Los Angeles and firmly believes as an artist it is her responsibility to be open to the world around her and to exercise her creativity on a daily basis. Doris has booked numerous commercials and earned credits on major TV networks. She has represented major commercial brands such as Ram, IBM, Nintendo, and Disney. Her recent television credits include co-star roles on, "Animal Kingdom," "Teachers," "Shameless," "Girlboss," "How To Get Away With Murder," "Jane the Virgin," and "Cooper Barrett's Guide to Surviving Life."
With experience in front and behind the camera, Doris feels she has a unique point of view which is advantageous to any project. She also looks forward to developing her own material, with the hope that it inspires, evokes thought and explores the human condition. Some of Doris's other interests include volunteering with the Young Storyteller's program, helping fellow veteran's, communing with nature, painting/drawing and photography.
