Doris started performing at a young age and it carried over into her adulthood. She decided to take the practical route by getting her B.A. in Communication at Rutgers University just in case her starving artist plan didn't work out.
After college she decided to hit the mean streets of NYC to work for the man and to quench her thirst for acting. She studied at the reputable HB Studio, The Actor's Theatre Workshop with Thurman Scott, TVI and Actor's Connection.
After attending an intensive workshop in Los Angeles through Actor's Connection, she realized she needed to be in Los Angeles to further her acting career.
Since her move, Doris has booked print jobs, commercials, industrials, independent films and tv shows. She has also taken an interest in producing and continues to empower herself by developing her own projects.
Other areas of her life she tries to find time to nurture is her love for travel, photography, reading, cooking, quieting her monkey brain with lots of nature, spending time with family and friends, making new friends and just trying to improve herself as a human being overall.
